New Horizons ... On a Mission from God!

Past Mission Projects

Adopt a Platoon: Regardless of how you feel about the war, our troops need support. Our Church has sent them magazines, candy, colored sheets, pillow cases and anything that remind them of home.

Veterans Ministry: hospitalized and retired veterans are often forgotten by the community We remember them by sending cards for the holidays, ornaments, and art projects to say, “ thank you!”

Villa Morlatton Partnership: On Sundays, our youth meets in this retirement facility for Bible Study and some residents have participated in these classes. Every Spring, We hold a treasure hunt with a Bunny for the children in our community at the Villa. This gives the residents an opportunity to enjoy the Resurrection season surrounded by the smiles of children and the love of our congregation.

Crop Walk: in unity with local Churches, we walk to raise funds for hungry children.

30 Hour Famine: In the early summer, our youth does a 30 hour fast where they raise funds for hungry children, do community work, and learn about hunger situations in the U.S and around the world. The youth leads the weekend Church service and shares their experiences.

Community Out-Reach: We have served the community by doing activities such as yard work for the Humane Society, honoring our police, fire fighters, and hospital workers with care baskets and doing a holiday activity in a homeless shelter.
